The Inside Tip On Finding Your Portrait Artist: Testimonials

I love when customers send me happy testimonials about their pencil portraits! Whether they are drawings of family, friends, weddings, or pets – each one is unique and meant to hold a special place in someone’s home.

Testimonials are important (not just to ease my fragile artistic ego) but also to help anyone looking for a portrait artist. When looking for a portrait painter to help you cover a blank wall, provide that unique gift or commemorate that special someone – it is important to know that they will deliver a high quality work of art. In a way, this is how you can test any potential artist. Don’t just look at the pretty drawings on their site, but also read what past customers have said about them. Is the artist polite? Responsive? Punctual?

When you are ordering a work of art, the drawing shouldn’t be all about the artist. Instead, the entire process and final portrait should be about you and the main subject in the work of art. You (or someone you care for) will be looking at this portrait for years to come.

So go ahead, skim over the testimonials. Contact the artist and ask questions. A little research can go a long way in making sure you receive a beautiful pencil portrait and a fantastic experience.
